What’s the Deal with today’s teenagers?
What’s the Deal with today’s teenagers?
I can’t help but turn on the T.V. everyday and see shows like Laguna Beach, the O.C., my super sweet sixteen, and other along those lines. America has become a sees pool for of rich spoiled people who think that the world revolves around them. The youth of America grows up being taught values like money is everything, only beauty gets you places, and of course “since my parents have money I am better then anyone else in this world. This just isn’t true. Parents wake up, you are allowing your children’s minds to be poisoned by things that us as humans do not need for our survival. Why do we feel the need to fill our minds with pointless hours of entertainment? Its time we turn the focus away from teenage boys and girls whose only problems in life are not getting the 80 thousand dollar car they wanted for their birthday and who broke up with whom for whom. We need to focus on our youth’s education, poverty, drug/alcohol abuse and other more important issues going on in America. So come on people remove the blind fold form our eyes and let’s take a step or two forward because it’s been a long time since we even did that.
